The QUICK question thread.....

I have done multiple bearing changes on all through the Muru but that gets salted annually. One set of suspension bearings through the Bronson and one through the rear wheel of the Cannondale. I am very gentle. Countless new bearings through the shifters.
Possibly might help that I don't ride in the wet or mud.

I bought 2 of these from bunnings for $47ea a while back and if the dogs were barking when I checked them at work I would just turn the mic on and make a short loud noise like a cough (being at work this looks less sus than me yelling at my phone) and the dogs would stop barking.

Now they only bark if the postie/someone comes to the door, then they stop once the person has left.

I used our security camera to pester the cat occasionally when he is hanging around the backyard.

He looks around but his monkey servant cannot be seen.

Everything on my bikes is as smooth as. No clicks, no squeaks, no rubbing. One slight noise and it gets hunted down like an animal.
I have the same personal 'problem'. I can hear the brake cable tapping on the shifter cable and I just have to do something there.

Maybe a small bit of sticky foam based tape. I tried a bit of gorilla tape but it is too solid.

Damn you, evil bike noises.

dogs bark, mine do when we leave for work at 0430, it's shit for the neighbours.
do the ultra sonic things work? The collars are brutal and it's too long as we are out for 14 hours when we work
I have one of those ultrasonic clicker things..they sure do work, but not always on the intended recipient!
We have a demented poodle that lives next door, barks at everything and anything..I was asked by the mrs to try something other than swearing at it, asking it to kindly shut the fcuk up at the top of my lungs did not bode well with the neighbours.
The problem was that my JRT has more sensitive hearing than stupid face next door, and did nothing but piss my dog off to the point where he would put himself to bed under the covers, and not come out...every time ol stupid snout barked, before I even got the clicker out to use it, my boy would fuck off up stairs, he saw her barking as a trigger and would just leave what ever he was doing (important Jack Russell stuff!?)
so I stopped using it...
You are quite welcome to try it out if you want, no point buying one if it doesn't work!

One click and my mind is doing overtime.

Got these jagwire cable/hose clips on every bike now.

"CAUTION: KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND PETS" pooftee's some nasty stuff. Guess they're just saying it won't contaminate with slight contact.

It's what you get when you ask for anti seize to use on commercial food machines, I guess it's not as dangerous as regular anti seize.
