Knows his Brassica oleracea
Not personally, I follow a few cattledog groups on socials, and some of the USA people have had some good outcomes with CBD oil for dogs, IIRCAnyone have any experience with seizures in dogs?
Had an awful situation this arvo with that sweet little girl above where she just started hunching over, drooling at the mouth, legs full extension and looking absolutely terrified. She had just gobbled 3 small round pieces of kibble and we were thinking she had one jammed somewhere or something.
Tried clearing her airways, did the old mouth over the muzzle cpr because it was hard to tell if she was breathing. After a bit of throat massaging and trying to get her to gag and throw up she came good. We were halfway to the emergency vet hospital by that stage and she started wagging her tail and barking at birds and dogs out the car window.
She has been fine since. Never had anything like it happen in the past with any dogs so kind of got me a bit freaked out and replaying it over and over in my head.
AKC Canine Health Foundation | Evidence for the Use of CBD to Treat Canine Idiopathic Epilepsy
Introduction If your dog suffers from epilepsy, you know how heartbreaking and unpredictable seizures can be. A new study funded by the AKC Canine Health Foundation (CHF) offers hope: cannabidiol (CBD) oil may help reduce seizure frequency in dogs with idiopathic epilepsy. This breakthrough...
There haven't been a lot of studies, apparently, yet there seem to be a noticable number of people with doggos who a doing better on CBD.

The main takeaway appears to be that CBD only products are better for Dogs and Cats, as THC can be toxic for them
Medicinal cannabis for pets
More veterinarians are turning to medicinal cannabis as an alternative to conventional therapies. But as an emerging clinical field with limited scientific investigation, its legitimacy as a bone fide treatment is still being questioned. By Tracey Porter On 29 February 2016, the Australian...

Vet visits Are fecking expensive, but you might want to get your wee girl checked over and you could ask them about CBD and whether it would be appropriate for your doggo. Hopefully your Vet is open minded.
Best to dig into the info and also keep in mind that CBD might not be the best treatment option.
The CBD that the vets will prescribe is specific for animals, with low or zero THC, and other toxic compounds present in some (dodgy??) human Cannabis products.
