Don’s party. It is very weird. I watch Malcom with my daughter on netflix and clicked the more like this button. This button should come with a warning for any Australian movies “Are you sure you want to watch more weird shit Australian movies”
Don’s party is best watched drinking and towards the drunk end of the scale.
It is an Interesting portrayal of Australian back then.

Fury Road. What an utter steaming pile of dog shit…even by Mad Max standards.
Why so? I never got on the superlative party that everyone else seemed to be at when it was released, but it was still a dumb yet fun thing to watch, with some pretty cool cinematography.

It was stupid explosions, with zero plot, wrapped in pregnancy/freak porn.
Was there a single line that’s wasn’t ADR’d?
Wasn’t even dumb enough to enjoy as a guilty pleasure.

‘Fyre’.
Already knew the story well, but still enjoyed the doco.
Feel bad for all the hard working locals that got shafted, but it made me so happy to see rich entitled millennials whining that they weren’t treated like kings and queens while taking Instagram pics for their followers at their elitist event.
I hate influencers more than I hate tubes, front derailleurs and press fit combined.

Merry fucking Xmas to you assholes
I haven't generally been a huge fan of Marvel tv series but holy shit is Loki good.

I also watched The Watchmen series recently and that was amazing as well.

Taxi Driver. I’d never seen it.
Loved it, up until the last 5 minutes.
Stupidest, most disappointing and nonsensical ending I’ve ever seen in an otherwise great movie.

Watched a couple of series on the Netflix .
Deadly Class - not bad ,adapted from the graphic novel - some funny bits , some good action , maybe not the little kids tho .
Cheer , don’t judge , it was really good , these are some supertalented gymnastics rats . Good story line takes some very dark turns . Oh am it’s a true - well ,Netflix reality true story .
Do NOT look up what happens on google’ let the story run - no spoilers

Technically it’s a tv show not a movie but it’s a spin-off of James Gunn’s ‘The Suicide Squad’ about John Cena’s psycho character and is hands down the funniest shit I’ve seen in a long time. It’s hilariously violent, John Cena’s comic timing is just perfect and the soundtrack is non-stop all-killer no-filler 80’s hair metal.

The intro is the first that I don’t instantly skip. Hilarious every time.

Agree. I watched it years ago and rematch it a few weeks ago. I forgot the ending and was very disappointed when I saw it.

The fucking secret service just witnessed him about to attempt to assassinate the Senator. He was distinctive AF, so there is no way they didn't recognise him as the person who killed multiple people unprovoked 10 minutes later before being hailed a hero. If I have missed the point, can someone please explain it to me?

Basically an angry unstable man buys guns, plans and completes a mass murder spree against people he doesn't like. He is then a hero to the town... atleast the movie shows the people to be doing criminal things making it not as bad as real life with things like Rittenhouse going on.

@moorey I'm pretty sure the point of the films climax was that in control is a form of enslavement and it is only though the 2nd amendment that (USA) Americans are truely free. The ability to resist a tyrannical government or engage in community protecting vigilantism are 2 great examples of this and those who lead us to freedom through such bravery are heroes.

I could have almost coped with it ending in being hailed as a hero after killing a pimp etc.....but they just witnessed him preparing to assassinate the senator.

8/10.
Visually amazeballs. Much more energetic and action-ey than Bladerunner 2049.
Should be seen on a big movie screen or a very large TV with your phone off and given your full attention

Agreed. It was basically a loose cannon that by sheer chance only killed criminals. It could have just as easily been the senator and innocent people surrounding that were killed and he never get the opportunity to kill criminals.
