The last movie you've last watched last

Bryan Cranston. Cemented by Breaking Bad, but also small bit parts he’s popped in like Lincoln Lawyer where he just owns whatever he does. Done some funny skits I’ve seen in YouTube too.
Been enjoying Sneaky Pete written by BC with Giovanni Ribisi.

Mr In between was good but a little close to home from my time living in QLD. Yes I'm aware it was shot in Sydney. Just the characters and general atmosphere.

You had a mate similar to Gaz who glued a horn on a horse and called it a unicorn? :D

Netflix: The Diplomat. 3 seasons available now. I re-watched the first two because S3 recently dropped.
Prime: current binge is What will you do Ieyasu? A "Taiga historical drama" from NHK Japan. Brutal battles, political intrigue & espionage. Follows the life of Tokugawa Ieyasu, who became Shogun and Unified Japan as a Nation.

Shogun on Disney is also worth a look.

I shuffle between a few of the apps during the year depending on what I want to watch. I've reactivated Disney Plus to watch the Alien Earth series this week. My wife isn't going to watch that show so we trawled through the list of other TV series to find stuff to enjoy. It kinda dawned on my real quick that these apps are just completely full of shit TV shows. The more apps that are created, the worse this rubbish will get. Honestly, there is ten tenths of fuck all that I want to watch on these things. I'll shuffle through a few of the good movies then can the whole lot of them. We need quality over quantity, not badly acted and badly written rubbish.

Anyone got any series to recommend? Lets say I like a good crime kinda drama leaning towards the thriller kind of thing. I'm not really into the supernatural kind of shit but more so a good cop investigating story that doesn't drop some last minute reveal that changes the whole outcome in the last episode.
Good shows I've enjoyed:
Luther
First few seasons of Criminal Minds
Mr Inbetween
Letterkenny
Some of the Aussie mystery shows
Andor
Jack Ryan

Shows that are fucking shit:
Lost
Any shit cops show made in Los Angeles
Most of the modern Star Wars stuff (minus a few standouts)
I won't watch any Marvel TV series either

Any suggestions
@Dozer

Mare of Easttown has a few names mentioned in this thread and is very good.

I’m currently watching Task, which is very similar vibe and is also good.

The Bear is awesome, though not cop related.

Realised I quite like the procedure in police procedurals. The antagonists in Luther are good but he goes too rogue for my tastes. I quite like Line of Duty, Endeavour, Vera and Inspector George Gently. Pathologists rather than police but Silent Witness is also pretty good.

I watched Predator Badlands last night. I love the Predator movies, a couple of them have had some pretty shit ideas thrown into them but things got on the right track with Prey. Predator Badlands though?

What a fucking horrible disaster it is. I hate being the guy that talks about a movie the day it comes out to potentially spoil stuff you other people but it was a movie I nearly walked out of. It's far too comical, I get the intention is to tell a story from the Predator side of things but there is way too much of the character involved meaning it loses that stealth element. It's another one of those movies that tells a horrendously shit story that rides on the coat tails of something good. It almost feels like some kid wrote a year 9 assignment for a movie then someone that knows his Dad who works at a movie production place that owes that guy a favor suggested they put it in the Predator franchise. It is absolutely fucking shit. Don't spend your money on it. Watch an SBS porno instead.

Watched Ozzy: No Escape From Now on Paramount Thursday night. I enjoyed it. It's a hard watch in places, you know how it ends and there may be some tears in places. Worth a watch if you have even a passing interest.

Doesn't surprise me, Predator movies have always been a very mixed bag. Discuss; using diagrams where appropriate:

Predator 1: Amazing, obviously
Predator 2: kinda shit? Apart from the bit where Bill Paxton dies that was creepy af
AVP 1: surprisingly good
AVP Requiem: absolute shit, like possibly deliberately so
Predators: I liked it but I may have been the only one who did
The Predator: haven't seen it (for many, many good reasons apparently)
Prey: surprisingly good
