The gaming thread

If you have time to put into an amazing RPG, get Crimson Desert. I'm over 200 hours into it and every time I play it I am amazed at just how good it is. It's my game of the year by a mile.
Other suggestions:
Ghost of Tsushima then Ghost of Yotei
The Last of Us 1 and 2
The Horizon games (as @Oddjob suggested)
The remastered Batman Arkham games are timeless
Baldurs Gate 3 (another game you can sink 300 hours plus into and in my top 5 of best games ever)
Cyberpunk is exceptional
The Witcher 3 is exceptional
TLOU 1 and 2 were fantastic. I got sucked into the story big time.

Shame season 2 of the tv show was a fizzle (wrong casting for Ellie). Hopefully they make up for it in Season 3.

Also deep dived into Cyperpunk and the expansion pack. then I got a new PC and wanted to do it all over again in raytraced glory, but it would have been way too much of a grind. hope they bring out a second expansion pack.

To be fair making a decent show out of such a miserable game was always going to be a tough sell, but yeah Ellie sucked in season 2. Why did they take all the cool characteristics from her and give them to Dina?

10 / 10 would bang Dina from the show ;)
I reckon the TV Series has been okay but have not liked the Ellie character either. I think Abby has been cast well and am pretty excited to see how season 3 will end (Spoiler in white letters: From memory you have to decide who ends it in the game yeah? Either Ellie or Abby? They've seriously got to end the show on a cliffhanger where neither of them win right? )
Hey @teK-- Have you played Crimson Desert? It's astounding. I've got a Rog Ally coming in the mail to use on planes and overseas and I reckon I'll play Cyberpunk again on it.

GT7
Armoured Core 6
Elden Ring
Astro Bot
The Horizon Duo
thanks

Have played Horizon, TLOU also when previously owning a PS4 and PS5...

Haven't done Crimson Desert yet. I think I am too strapped for time these days to be grinding into a huge open world game :D.

I got plenty of time, but same here. Just feel like I'd get WAY too addicted to Crimson Desert (I spent thousands of hours in Black Desert Online!). Will be my next game though, pretty sure.

Anyone into DIablo 4. Path of Exile or Last Epoch?

I put massive hours into The Division 1, and Destiny 1 and 2, but when I got burnt out on Destiny 2 I started playing these isometric/top down ARPG's and find them quite fun. Much more hardcore build diversity and build crafting, and in some ways just as challenging with lots of absolute bullshit one shot boss mechanics (bosses you have to beat if you're hunting for certain armour or weapons). Can almost feel like a "souls like" game if you're under levelled, or have a build that's not optimised.
