The gaming thread

Borderlands 4 (!) is out, and been patched so shouldn't have too many glitches.
Cyberpunk 2077 if you never got around to it. Fooking greeeaat!

Did all the borderlands before and just didnt feel like it
Didnt think of cyberpunk 2077 - would have been a contender

Diablo IV should be good for a easy one to jump in at any time, and then enough levelling up to keep interest going.

I bought the Diablo 2 remaster recently on Xbox but haven't spent time with it yet.

Diablo started to become of interest as I am watching Shroud on Twitch play Project Diablo 2 which is a mod of Diablo 2 then I saw the remastered then I decided to just get latest as I will have to learn it all anyway

Got back into an online sailing game that I'd almost forgotten about for a few years. There are Inshore (small boat, short course) and Offshore (big boat, long course) options. As a real-life small boat sailor, I'm playing the Inshore side. Having been off it for a few years I'm pretty rusty, especially dealing with clunky keyboard controls, but showing occasional flashes of competence.

My son bought a Meta Quest 3 yesterday and all I can tell you is that the packaging is nice...

Hopefully I get a go today!

I've become mildly addict to ARC Raiders.
I'm terrible at it (as I am at most games) and it's my first time playing a game like this, but it's really enjoyable. I 'die' a lot, which slows progression as I don't bring back the materials I need, but each trip is a a fun adventure and the stakes feel more real than in a lot of other games. And most of the other players are a lot more chill than I thought they'd be. I usually avoid online games where you can interact with other players, but this has been mostly positive

I was a DMZ tragic for ages and was really looking forward to Delta Force and ARC Raiders - But I don't want to say they are too FAST paced I am too SLOW paced now :)

loads of chunts around lately but yes it's a fun game and I am loving it when I thought I would absolutely hate it. the grind is real though

BANG! Nailed a hot race start and getting some good straight line boatspeed on Virtual Regatta. However getting through corners needs work; that's where the clunky controls are biting my arse.

I have finished the cat game Stray which was a pretty good game.
How they come up with the idea of a cat with a companion drone stuck in a cyber metropolis full of robots is anyone's guess but it is nicely made and enjoyable to play overall.

Looking in the pile 'o shame and started Titanfall 2. I can see why it reviewed so well and looks superb upscaled to 4k on the PS5 Pro.
Everything works just right. It is a solid FPS.
