oh , i don't deny it - Aus ( We ) need to step our game up - and deniers are holding us back
Being a farmer is hard yards is anyones book , but as a nation we became addicted to cheap imported foods - when its actually all here - why send it round the world to buy it back ?
Or worse still , support shitty practices in other far off lands - we can do that at home

Lot of farmers (brexit supporting) farmers in the UK are going to go under on the back of the FTA with Australia. And yet some are still supporters of Brexit, which is weird.

Yeah but that's where we're just going to shoot ourselves in the foot. Australia is currently flirting with an EU trade deal to replace markets that China has closed to us. Except the EU is about to hit anyone still heavily polluting with massive tariffs, so farmers are going to be fucked either way.
Meh...China is replacing the market China cut off.

The ruling class there are still gorging themselves on Grange and lobster, they're just having to pay double now, buying it from grey markets in Indonesia and Singapore. Our exports to those markets has increased quite significantly. All the crying from the affected industries is a byproduct of the laziness developed from years of having the low hanging fruit of China.

it's a nice bridge...
