The whole point of the voice advisory was that it was an independent body from the Australian government, indiginous formulated how it would work. The problem I see is that they had 22 representatives for over 400 clans across Australia, the reps could be advising with a self-interest against other clans. That is the government's job, not the campaigners. The leaders of the yes campaign may have been asked to assist in designing or implementing, but it is still the government's job to do it.
Comments like this are reflective of outdated racist tropes and cliches about indigenous people not being able to govern/organise/lead/sustain/etc that have evolved over 235 years of purposeful exclusion of indigenous people in shaping Australia. They feed right into the falsehoods purporting the terra nullius myth still touted by those who wish to justify British colonialism.
