The cooking thread

That's not the only source of worry. I once made the the mistake of reading the nutrition label on a block of 90% dark chocolate. Far too much sugar content which probably explains why it wasn't quite bitter enough.

As an aside, block isn't quite the right word, not sure what we call the thin ones.

You wouldn't be using much, wafer thin layer.

And chocolate calories are different to normal calories!

There is no excuse for a chilli oil with so little chilli in it. Loa Gan Ma or make your own.
I realise abit of a self contradiction, kinda meant didn't fell like leaving the house, everything there was already in the fridge/pantry.

Will give the Loa Gan Ma a nudge when I see it.

I havent cooked for myself in quite a while...

I made a jar of coriander "pesto" late last year some time. I was well surprised to see that my oil seal had kept it good while I was away. So coriander goo runned all over the flesh side of the chicken, chili powder, salt, more garlic (there's already a lot in the goo), a splash of oil, a splash of water, foil on, and into the over at 180⁰ for abput 20 minutes. Chopped up a zucchini, bull horn peppers, and Brussels...in they went with some more green goo, foil back on and backed until the aroma of cooked chicken filled the house. Foil off, glaze skin, chase that golden brown finish...chicken out to rest and veggies for a bit longer. Crispy, spicy, juicy, delicious.

Geez Poods. Now, hold on young man. We have a timing issue. You are on the train here right

There is an 11th Commandment for this one
'Thy Gods comandeth you to remain clothed in public lest thou be deemed a loose unit by the constabulary and the CAT team, and ushered with great vigor to a dungeon of the crown, wherin thy dignity and thy person may be sorely violated, and lord knows what might have transpired for one's orange steed...'

'Thou dost not nudeth up on thy transport of public on thy Sunday of Easter'

For a good onsen...I am always ready. Don't worry I have alighted from the train. Though this busy park would also be a bad choice for buying up.
