Suspected stolen bike spotted.
May be legit, but there are always a few warning signs that I cannot ignore.
Such as when you see a DH bike with a 120mm stem, flipped to give it a 20 degree rise placed on top of about 4 inches of spacer risers.
Saddle length out all the way, bars rotated to some stupid assed angle.
All the tell tale signs of a bike that was nicked, and then setup and ridden by a junkie with no idea of bike mech skills trying to make the bike good for 'just get'n around on.
Details of bike are
Giant DH Comp - White (Maybe 2004)
18" frame
Super old school marzocchi bombers
Can Creek headset (On top of the crown under the stem!)
SDG Saddle (Bel air I think)
Not sure of tyres, I think they were high rollers
Brand spanking new PRO Atherton bars (The are so mint they don't look like they are more than a few hours old)
Brand new jet black grips with anodised red caps
Avid brakes of some kind
203mm rotors front and back
Truvativ cranks I think
Red flat pedals
