Anybody tried the Patagonia Dirt Crusher shorts ?
Dear as poison, but there are said to last for years.
I've had a couple of pairs of Ground Effects shorts, c/w a liner for around 10 years.
The liner died about 6 years ago, so I wear them over bibs.
One pair finally split, so I replaced them with the Ground Effect Slim Jims, very underwhelmed to say the least.

I've got an older pair of Patagonia MTB shorts that I am still wearing 5-6 years after purchase.
They have held up very well and no issue with fit or comfort.

Mons Royale shorts are my preferred option

The Mons Royale short liners are great, when bought on sale.
Thanks , I will give them a look. Does anyone know of of any stcokists in melbs for the mons royale bike clothing? (I know paddy palin stock them, but guessing thats more hiker orientated stock)

I ordered some of the decathlon shorts, thanks. Anyone got reccommendations for short liner only?
Pearl Izumi. Their Knicks are like the 90s Toyota Hilux of the cycling world.

The triathlon versions are good if you want less padding and then they have three levels of fanciness for their road offerings.

Where is best online for them? (barely stocked anywhere in-store, or aussie online stores?)
I may need to... temporarily upsize from my old ones.. 🤔

I wish I could still fit into my shorts from 5-6 years ago

Any suggestions for a replacement for my Endura Hummvee II? The liner is starting to stretch and I need size L now.
