Shimano Shifter Screw (SLX m7000)

I’m in the process of switching my shifters from bar mount to ispec ii and it turns out one of the screws is shorter for the ispec ii mount, and the bar mount one won’t go in fully.

Anyone got any suggestions or have a dead shifter lying around I could scavenge a screw from?

In the golden age, when one wheel size ruled them all, I think Shimano shifters just had a small hole for your cable to enter/exit from at the time of replacement. But now, in the age of small inconveniences, they have wised up to the value of a sealed system and now have a poorly executed screw plug. You must have very dusty shifting?
