Shrink Tape
Forms an excellent join and seal on LDPE shrink film. A special formulated PE adhesive tape suitable for heat shrinking. Join plastic sheeting with tape before shrinking with Ripack heat gun.

My grinder is set at 13, and i haven't touched it since i bought it. The grinder has 1-16 setting, with 16 being the coarsest.

I only use proprietary brands like Stans or Vittoria both are OK.
I suppose everyone has problems with sealants .
The valve jams open and the tyre goes flat .
The valve body gets blocked .
If the tyre has been in place for ages it gets almost welded to the rim so you cant get it off in the bush to put in a tube so you have to use plugs .
Plugs dont work so well in thin sidewalls and when that happened a friend who likes tubes joked about tubeless I said " This is a friendly Fuck Off ''
I walked out . It took me about 1/2 hr to get the tyre off at home.

Overall it worked fairly well, maybe with a slightly faster evaporation rate. I did notice the beads aren't really enough for every time I poured sealant in, I ran out of the gritty stuff a few tyres before the bottle was done.
I've just grabbed a bottle of Joes, so I'll see how that compares in the next 6 months. Look for the COFW post around then when I've compared one if each tyre, and ended up wtih a flat at the further point from the car
