I got this bad-boy sent over just at the start of the covid dramas, from Washington to my front door in less than 5 whole days! Incredible! Then it took about 3 weeks to get the cranks even though they were within 100km of my house...
Anyway, the reason for this build was the desire for a single speed dual suspension play bike that could shred dirtjumps, street, little freeride spots and just general hooning about. Im too washed up to ride a hardtail like i used to, need a few inches of cush at least..

Massive thankyou to Sully from Rotec for looking after me on this one, its keeping me entertained untill the new pressie rocks up!

As much as i enjoy the simplicity of the SS setup, i think ill end up throwing on a sram 7speed DH groupset just to widen its use a little.
Also next are some offset shock bushes and drop the fork travel to around 130 if possible.

Looks super and full of purpose. Haven't heard of Rotec for quite a long time.

What is hapepning around the BB pivots? Is is a single pivot or have some funky linkages tucked away.

Straight up single pivot around the BB, hence the single speed setup with no need for a tensioner. Pretty versatile little frame!
Very nice and tidy looking too. Red is also at least 5% faster than lesser colours.

Single pivots are the One True Suspension. You won't get a bad word from me.
