I love how other riders bail the scene and keep on racing after that kind of crash leaves a fellow rider laying on the road. Nice blokes.

totally agree its like porsche felt sorry for the poor blokes out there that got their Mrs pregnant and had to sell the 911 to buy a family car.

Its a professional bike race. There are plenty of people there. The teams have doctors. There is a support car with a doctor. The teams have their own cars with managers and others.

No need for other riders to stop.

I cant believe how many cars + riders crossed to the wrong side of the road presuming it was a closed road.
Too many cars mixed w riders.
He didnt seem to slow down not concentrating nearly fatal .

Looks like old mate and a couple of the others had a case of operator error. the first bloke must not have been concentrating, as others have said. By the time he realized he was in the poo, he hauled on the brakes- you can see his rear wheel was off the ground - he would have minimal traction and basically be along for the ride right into the side of the team car.

Most of the riders seemed to be taking crappy lines though the corner. the cars and bikes stopped in sketchy places would not have helped.
