I’m too lazy.

But not as lazy as these dudes at the golf course I rode past yesterday driving around remote control golf buggies! I saw two of them come around a corner all by themselves and keep going. I had to stop and take it in. Never seen such a thing. Then I saw two dudes walking 10m behind. WTF. who can’t even even push around their own golf buggy!?!? I bet they have Ebikes in the garage too!

I put one of them together for my dad, last Christmas. I hate golf, and will have nothing to do with it, but he turned 82 3 days ago, and if it keeps him playing 2-3 times a week, and most importantly, out of a golf cart, I'm all for it.

Like most ebikers we mock, I suspect he’s more the demographic JPez was talking about though.

The Tuesday night XC racing in Bendigo is way down on adults (like 50%) - but the kids are still getting a big turn out which is good to see.
they run a great jnr program though , and they have a long history of success-they would be one of a few places which have stayed stronger than others -eg it appears to me that adelaide cycle club keeps fairly active,

What do Bendigo and Adelaide have in common?

The E bikes need a rider, so when you make one that just sends remotely with a gopro and headset for feedback/virtual stoke, I'm sure it will do well ;)
