Well it seems this section has taken off fantasticly!:D which you should all be very proud of!

and with the amount of questions that have been comeing in from guys and gals regarding female specific products, ive decided to start this thread, basicaly I will useing and reviewing various female specific (saddles, gloves, cloths bikes etc) and giveing everyone the run done when ive abused the product enough.

My first product on the line up will be 2 saddles (yehr only 2 this all depends on how my finances are as to how quick stuff flows though!)
Iwill be reviewing the specialised dolce and jett saddles (being very similar in desighn) and The wtb speed she race.

Il leave this thread open for a couple of days to here your views before i begin trial/testing.

happy trails girls!:)

Hey Roxy

That's a fantastic idea :D , it can be tricky finding good, female appropriate gear out there. One thing that bugs me about a lot of the womens specific saddles is that I find them too wide to get back in front of them after going down a drop (maybe I've just got fat thighs).

cheers

Hey Roxy, are you only trying out female-specific gear?

I find jump seats good - they're flatter (for the wider sit-bones of females) but still narrow enough at the back so I don't get 'stuck' behind it after a drop.

Roxy, good idea as there are sooo many products out there. Why not save the expense and get the rest of us to assist you in the reviews. I know that there are sites like MTBreview etc, but not for female specific stuff - unless I haven't looked at that site hard enough. I have a 2 specialised Jett saddles (one medium and one small) and I think they are perfect. I have no probs getting back on after getting behind it for a drop. Might not suggest it for DHers tho ...

yes i picked up a medium jett (143mm) its been fantastic so far, have also tested an sdg freestyle saddle and am currently on the speed she.

But thats a fantastic idea, if any of you girls out there have female specific gear/cloths feel free to pm me, saves alot of work on my part!

So is this section still happening?

Have ridden and rated a huge amount of womens specific gear and am currently riding Santa Cruz (one dually and one hardtail) :)

Would be really keen to get some reviews happening and help out other girls wanting reviews on stuff....

I thought it was time to get some gear review threads going on here... but I'm going to create some new threads so that we can separate out things into basic categories like bikes and bike bits separate from clothing. Hope all you girls can add to these threads.
