Hey guys,

hoping you can settle an arguement between myself & a mate. What's the better movie, RAD/Hell Track or BMX Bandits??? Both have an Aussie connection with John Farnham doing a handfull of songs for the RAD Soundtrack & BMX Bandits was Aussie made & starred Nicole Kidman .

I have always loved BMX Bandits, I saw it at the movies when I was a kid and own the DVD.

But how can it compete with the Hell Track on RAD.

Another Aussie link is Real Life's "Send Me An Angel" from the bicycle boogie scene. They're a Melbourne band (still kicking around, too, I think).

It's never officially made it to DVD, but there's a great copy on the torrent sites.

RAD for sure, better storyline, better action, better soundtrack, bigger budget, better actors and of course HELLTRACK, its a no-brainer...

Nicole Kidman is that proud of her role in bmx bandits she doesn't list it on her CV

I'm a bit like you SOSage, but vice versa. I liked 'em both ,but RAD made a bigger impact & gets my vote. The memory is a bit hazy these days Re BMX Bandits as it would be 20+ years since i've seen it. Give me a buzz & we'll do the ol' switcheroo, as I have RAD on DVD but not B.B.

I used to watch Rad when I was about 4 - then terrorise the hood pretending to be Cru – I probably can thank this movie for the inspiration to ride bikes like I do today..
