You need to practice parking?
Amongst many many other things.

The brake upgrades were well worth it, the car was wonderful under braking all night. The GTR was very much a point and squirt monster. The Falken Azensis FK510 weren't really up to it and high G sections were pretty scary.

Best time was a 1.56 on the SMSP Gardner GP circuit. Good enough to qualify for the sprint nights.

Getting some Nankang AR1 semi slicks on a second set of rims today, also ordered a transmission oil cooler from Japan. Will call Croydon Racing Developments about an E85 tune and a dyno run. Have promised myself no engine or turbo upgrades.

Thats true. For context the estate I live in was created as a high end environmentally friendly estate. DA's are very hard to get across the line and are met with objections from wealthy retirees.
There are some benefits to living wedged between two housos, we expect no trouble at all when we extend our house, Housing probably like it because improvements to other nearby homes increases the value of their asset.

No idea, that's why it's getting on the dyno. This naturally led to why not get an E85 tune while I'm at it for the odd sprint. Now I want to have a sticky beak at the intercooler...

So over the last couple days I’ve been poking and prodding around the beezer to work out a couple things, it’s a 52 frame with a 48 engine.

So I pulled out the plugs dropped a little bit of oil down each pot and left it for a day or two and then slowly and anxiously pushed on the kickstarter and it’s not locked up, so some good news.

Just went and brought some new spark plugs from supercheap but they do not sell individual leads , called into the local mechanic who sells some basics, he drags out a box full of them and says have a look yourself. I searched through the box and find a couple that will work, I asked how much he says take them, wahoo.
So it has spark and I’ve given it some aerostart and a couple kicks but no luck so far, but I will try again over the weekend and maybe get one of my sons over so they can return the favour of all the times I did it for them and their motos.

So silly. Why risk you and your mates life like that?

I did a track day last Wed and took along some brand new Nankang AR-1 semi slicks. Had a great time and really got a lot out of the coaching on hand. Took 4 secs off my time from a fortnight before, which I was super chuffed by.

Managed to overtake most of the other cars in the Intermediate group including a GT4, M5, M3 Comp etc. But there was this one GTR that was on EPO. He (because track days are total sausage fests) underbraked into every corner and missed all the apexes by car lengths, but as soon as he got on the straight he just walked away from me. Even the instructor thought the car was crazy fast.

Full credit to the owner for polishing their skills on the track, I just hope he doesn't give that beast full gas on public roads.

I would not be comfortable driving a car that powerful. I have not had the training or experience for it…

I am all for graded licences.
Precision are a very professional setup, the car would have been pretty easy to drive. The problem is driving the car at high speed on public roads.
