Yeah Im on ASF, might do a medium length job on the Yoshi, have to get some people to photoshop options for me. Dirtibke headlight is highly unlikely now, don't worryfark slip, you seem like an older version of me in so many ways, think i've seen the old owners thread on asf as i've been browsing?
The yoshi has rivits right? drill them out and make a shorty ,Dont go a dirt bike light! please I beg you!)
Smart man. Large amounts of problems with the EFI on the 690 Dukes in the US... be careful.I rode a Husky, think a 450smr - test ride. It was absolutely mental. But the main reason I bought my DRZ (initially) was that I had previously lost my licence on my sportsbike for a mono - oops. So wanted something tame until the points accumulated again.
.
My wheels must have been shitty offsets - 9's wouldn't fit on the front but on the back they had heaps of room.Nah front 9"s fit pretty easy, might have to roll the guards dependent on what springrate and height I run. They have approx 4mm clearance to the stock struts...9s about the limit in the front without overfenders I think..
Mmmmm skidpans...I then did a lot of this action with it....
Hi-gh-w-ay? What is this highway work you speak of hahah.Be very careful in your choice of motard if you're going to be doing any sort of highway work (Husky and Husaberg). I rode to Toowoomba and back (1.2hrs each way) and varied rpm, load, and speed the whole way - and still scored the bores. Hooray for 24 month factory warranty! Blew a gearbox as well....
Such a rad bike though.
yes please!sort of related. dad bought a 1970 bmw r75/5 couple of years back. rebuilt it to almost concourse condition.... may post a pic up if i can find one.
Done the Edge2 tail light install (a must!) and had to do a LOT of work to get the rear brake right. Suzuki should really tell their dealers how to do it.any mods at all?
I haven't done the edge to taillight, but am running the stock one bolted up under the rear guard.Done the Edge2 tail light install (a must!) and had to do a LOT of work to get the rear brake right. Suzuki should really tell their dealers how to do it.
Next week my Pilot Powers go on, going to do the 3x3 and rejet, and install some Zeta levers. I'm in two minds about a pipe. I've always had one but kind of liking the stealth quietness of the stocko, as bad as it looks.
Man you've got to get the tail light kit . FCR will be cool.
Yep took it off yesterday and will try to get a new bonnet soon. Now to decide what wheels.Loose the spoiler and you've won this thread. LOVE old school minis. Only way someone is going to top you in my books is if someone has an original cooper s.
forgot to attach pics:This is my little oldschool project/toy. Is a Mk2 Escort Rally Pack, was my first car, had it for over 10years now and will never part with it.. i am the second owner. Factory everything except wheels, brakes, suspension and engine. Current setup is Turbocharged, decomp'd 1800 running 12psi which is fun, want to go CA18DET/SR20 or Cosi power soon but these old engines just won't die!
Also got a R33 GTR Vspec which scares the shit out of me sometimes.. and it's still pretty stock!
Skyline looks tough! So does the escortforgot to attach pics:
Yeah exactly..... but I aint complaining!Sometime after christmas, get the money together, and go buy a Husky 450 or 510smr....
How the hell are they learner legal? hahah
My old man had a few old Trumps. He overtook a bus on his 750 Bonny (full of kids!) and had a head on with one of his school students at the time. Silly Bastard.my old man is after any BMW pre 1970 R50/60 models. he's also into brit stuff from the 70's backwards. i've been watching the Australian market over the last year or so, the BSA B40's (50's/60's 350cc single) is catching my eye, they seem to consistently sell for very low figures in comparison to bonnies, commandos, A65's etc apparently they're bullet proof too.
