Post your all mountain bike

I want to go single on the front of my Blur, but will be staying with a 34t 9spd cassette for the time being. There is a a fair bit of climbing in the granny where I ride, so I guess I'll need to go for a 28 or 30t front ring and sacrifice some top end until I get fitter.
I've recently done this on my '07 blur as well, but am running a 32t ring. So far it has been great, no regrets what-so-ever. Done a few rides on it now, including one with 6-7km of climbing to start the ride and found the 32 to be adequate. I'd suggest trying it with your current 32t ring and seeing if you want to change it from there..

This is my new (to me) 2009 trance XO frame I got for an absolute steal and built up with my old parts. I tried the longer travel AM thing but decided it was better just to have a downhill bike and a shorter travel fun bike that could still take some big hits.
Took it out to the local trails yesterday and absolutely loved it.

It's a shame you guys weren't doing ibis when i was looking.
I think its the way i would have gone if i could of gotten a local test ride.

That said i do love my Blur, it's just something about the HD that keeps me second guessing myself.

Can I post my hardtail while I wait for my next dually? It is my All MTN bike for now, and I'm loving it. My 40year old joints probably aren't but. Still mad fun.

Does this make you feel better? Still my go-to bike for a lot of the time.
Yeah cheers. Looks like a very fun bike. Takes me a while to get in the hardtail zone, but once in(from riding it only, for ages) it's so much fun. Feels so raw and natural.
U-Turn Pikes? Makes it easy to dial in the geo to any track. I love adjustable travel forks on my hardtail.
I dig the lazy seat angle on yours, something hardtails should have. Roomy for climbing, a bit tighter for descending and techo stuff. Might just be an optical elusion comparing yours to mine as my forks look a bit would down.
