Just a quick post to let people know the entries for the Passportes Du Soleil event in Morzine/Les Gets/Champery region in the French Alps have opened. Event is 26-28 June. Space is limited and entries sell out pretty early if you want to start from one of the main towns, I always forget and leave it until too late to get a good entry!
The classic route is 75km of riding with 6500m of decending and 500m of climbing with 15 chairlifts, visiting 5 Valleys, 2 countries, 8 towns and with bbq's food and drinks provided along the way!

If you are planning to be in Europe its certainly worth checking out- it's not a race and it's not a full on DH event like the megavalanche, but it's a great event that any reasonable rider can manage. Certainly worth the effort if you can make it. There's loads more riding to be done there too.
