Online retailers trusted/scammers

Anyone have any experience with ozbackcountry.com.au??
There are a couple of things that are well priced...
I think these folk have been around for a year or two. They're online only stuff, but mostly legit, or they were when I last grabbed something small. Given that everything is pretty highly discounted they may be clearing stock, so perhaps don't bet on them for any support long term?

But I reckon if they've got what you want, go for it!

Where's the best place to buy some Shimano and SRAM stuff with a view to shipping to the UK (heading there in April)?

I want to get some new SRAM rotors, Shimano cassette and chain.

Is it still ze Germans or are Merlin still competitive?

Got your new UK passport ?

I think it was Evans Cycles I got some stuff through some years ago, before they stopped shipping here (thanks Gerry Effing Harvey), and they were very competitively priced against other Poms/Mainland Euros. Shipping within UK should be close to fuck-all, so overall could work out better than mainland stuff. I don't know what shipping from Germany to UK costs, but to send here they charge a fucking bomb.

Evans I'm pretty sure is Mike Ashley I avoid his shops, piled high with chav shite generally (but hey it made him a billionaire so what do I know).

I have my current one thanks! My children on the other hand... theirs is on the way via DHL as we speak! What a cash grab..

My new one arrived here while I was over there a few weeks ago.
Annoying thing is both my Aussie born boys are now British citizens and need a pommy passport to enter the UK. For 20+yrs we have all been flying in and out on Aussie passports.
The ones who were born here to pommy parents 60yrs ago and parents have passed are now scrambling for their dead parents original British birth certificates.

But what's the point?

Is the UK even a member of the Schengen area anymore? It looks.like there will be reciprocal work right between EU and Australia as well.

Yup same here! Like I said, it's a cash grab and the roll out has been shambolic.

Anyone used Apex Sports Bikes? Got some good prices on a few things included EXT coils, Sprindex coils, some Vittoria tyres and TRP DH Evo for those interested.

I don't much like the look of it on initial impressions. FB page is padded with follows from all sorts of random accounts, address listed is a random unit block in Adelaide, which I doubt contains a "huge factory outlet packed with new bikes, parts, and accessories", and the domain appears to only have been registered on the 15th March.

interesting. Thanks.

Their prices are good on some things and standard on a lot of other things. Definitely not I the ‘too good to be true‘ basket so I hoped it might be legit…
