Newly Released Suspension & Components General

I haven't tried Time pedals, really should one day. But I would agree with the latter, I tried CB pedals and thought they were indeed number two. Would have thrown them away if they weren't borrowed. Hard to clip out when you want, built in ejector function if you hit something from underneath, I have no idea how they're so popular.
Having tried Nukeproof, Funn, Time (didn't like, too much float, very vague/slippery feeling), Shimano XT/XTR/Saint, I swear by my CBs Mallets now. Everyone's different 🤷‍♂️

I would like to give some Oneups or these a go though.

There lies the issue, SPD... don't know how many times over the last 20yrs I have converted people to TIME.

SPD are the worst pedal for clip stack and a crash with you being locked in. They are shithouse.

Time #1, even Crankbros are #2.
Agh see I liked to be locked in and no phantom feet pop outs which I got on Shimano a lot, running HT and feet are locked in and takes a very purposeful twist to release. Tried CBs like riding on ice was awful.

The XC style Time pedals are very floaty and I've noticed that the cleat wear on the XC pedals is at least 4 times quicker than what the wear is on the Speciale versions. Brass on steel, the float and movement kills the brass cleats quickly. It used to be I would go through 2-3 sets of cleats a year, now I'm getting over 2yrs from 1 set.
I only ride the Speciale 8's now, got them on all MTBs, only my adventure bike has the XC pedals now.

They are a solid unit, highly recommended.

I can't find it on their website under the product range tab?
There's a separate Yamaha bicycle website by the look of it.

Oh that's good because Yamaha had a new protoype Emtb with that KYB suspension about to launch. That was early 2024.

Motobrands would see eeebz as a fucking gold mine...the problem is not many moto guys are going to pay more for a pushy with 80nm that only does 25.
You can walk into a dealer and buy one of these for $15k, a lot more moving parts, tech, horsepower and most importantly it Braps.
The market is also over saturated with bike brands selling eebs that are all pretty similar to each other.
