Newly Released Suspension & Components General

The Outbound lights are AUD prices, not USD. I purchased a Hangover helmet light recently and has faired well for me, first helmet light for me
Ah ok, I just assumed that because it was a US site it was US dollars. 👍

Oh, I just assumed USD. Now you have my interest!

New Exposire lights. Now with USB C no more proprietary port. Nice clear screen on the bar lights. Stupid amounts of lumens. Refined reflex tech. Price is eye watering. Will upgrade one day but the price is hard to get past.

Self quoting but holy crap that’s a lot for one light. Will be rocking my current Exposure lights for many more years.

Anyone got a good source for Gloworm lights?

At what point do you just admit either your bike doesn't fit you or you have the flexibility of a bin?*

*(entirely possible I just don't get it, but I reckon your bike would need a wheelbase of a limousine to not make the handling with an 80mm rise bar feel munted)
If there was a whole bunch of WC guys following Dak Norton's lead on this, it might gain some traction but nahhhh

I have the flexibility of a bin.
Bikes feel like the sporting equivalent of a size 9 shoe. For the average height and weight rider bikes fit well and look right. When they are scaled up beyond that something seems to get lost. Maybe people who are larger are less "standard" and the variations in body proportion go haywire a bit. long legs, long torso, long arms - lots of variations.

I like this guy's reviews (pretty much the opposite of paid shill). He now has a review of the Fox Podium that he spent a large amount of money purchasing:

TL/DR: fork has only exploded once

What a load of bollocks - I'm sure others could simply de-anodise for the same effect.

Wolftooth has a range of clipless pedals. Look good, SPD compatible, adjustable Q factor and all rebuilable. Price is bit ouch though.

Look good, SPD compatible

There lies the issue, SPD... don't know how many times over the last 20yrs I have converted people to TIME.

SPD are the worst pedal for clip stack and a crash with you being locked in. They are shithouse.

Time #1, even Crankbros are #2.

I haven't tried Time pedals, really should one day. But I would agree with the latter, I tried CB pedals and thought they were indeed number two. Would have thrown them away if they weren't borrowed. Hard to clip out when you want, built in ejector function if you hit something from underneath, I have no idea how they're so popular.
