Mt Gambier area XC/AM

Hi guys.
Going to be in the Mount on the weekend to give the race bike some laps at Mac Park on Saturday.

Wondering if i should throw the mtb in and hit some trails on either Friday or Sunday. Anyone got a map?
Had a search but got nothing recent.

Is there an organised group ride anywhere?

Hello Yoda,
I used to do the same....drive from Adelaide with sportbike in tow for a day out at McNamara Park. Love that track.
Sadly there are no purpose built mountain bike trails around Mt Gambier. There are walking trails that meander around both the lakes....more scenic than exciting...good for family rides though.

Yeah, it's a fun circuit for sure!

Was hoping to kill 2 birds, never mind, I might take do some road Kay's instead.

Reviving this thread - will be in Mt Gambier in a couple weeks, wondering if its worth throwing my bike in? Trail Forks indicates a few trails near the lake...
