More precise too. I have a 25t hydraulic press as well. This has an open throat which lets me fold longer lengths of sheet.

Nothing more annoying than a bracket and spacers. Spacers needed to be thicker so I remade the entire thing as one piece. So much easier to reassemble. This piece is actually bike related. It's for my wife's ebike motor.

The guy I bought the flypress from has some dies he made for it. Radius bend jig, vee bend jig and so on. $150... sold.

At a guess, cage lock you can jam an allen key/multitool bit in while taking the wheel in or out...

The ones that have a 0.001 scale on the vernier are not easy to read. At least not with my eyes. I find the standard 0.01 resolution ones easier to read, unless I actually need um.

Not getting any easier for me either, and most here won't use it... or notice it

The 193-111 i have does and is appreciated (This is the flat anvil version)


For higher precision, have one of those fancy 0.1um digitals tucked away.. but it stays in office.

Starett have a digit counter, but only in freedom units (0-1") not metric.. (T216XRL-1)

Having said that, I do have a Chinese set of mics 0 to 150mm that I'm happy with for stuff that's not mega important. You just need to cal them properly.
I have a Switzerland made 0-25 mics in microns but it was around $1500 in 1998
That's locked in my gun safe.

#1 was after some 150x5 aluminium flat to machine up a bracket. I was in Brendale so I went shopping. Nearest size was 160x6 so giving more room for machining but min purchase was half a length or 2m. He needed 150mm plus fixturing so 250mm. Bugger. Ah well it will always get used. $80. As I was doing the deal a guy wandered in to the adjacent counter after an offcut of 140x4. Sorry nearest size is 160x6, minimum length 2m... he vacillated. I said want to buy a metre of mine? So he gave me $40. I paid for 2m cut in half and thus was a great transaction! Guys at the counter were pissing themselves laughing. This never happens.
