OK TIL about Melbourne from my last trip

- bunch of lazy cnuts ; streets are empty at 8am on a Sat morning
- Zamgames House is bloody good and in a great location ; can pretty much walk everywhere
- RMIT is HUGE
- Coffee is pretty average except one joint called Assembly in Carlton
- Coffee is farking expensive ; I paid 7 bucks plus a few times - get farked Melbourne not even Sydney is that bad
- The Lincoln Hotel is ace
- The Napier Hotel is even better (go the BrisbaneFitzroy Lions Bears)
- Fitzroy seems cool, would love to explore more
- Asado was OK ; not enough staff too many covers ; as a comparison Gauchos in London is a lot better
- Ponyfish Island was great
- Weather is farking atrocious
- Farmer's Daughters is a nice little spot for lunch though not cheap
- A lot of the little bars are extremely wanky ; though I enjoyed One or Two and the Bijou Bottle Store
- They are at least cultured and call a pot a pot (none of this middy shit)
- Some top craft beers and sours were accessible and on tap in a lot of places

A mate sent me a meme that suggested that Melbourne weather is like being in the shower while someone is playing with taps elsewhere in the house. Hard to dispute.

We are thinking of moving to Tasmania - other day it was 37degs outside and missus was complaining of the heat - I casually pointed out is was only 15 in Tas
