Sharing some initial impressions for anyone interested in the longer rear end.
For reference, this is 27mm longer than the factory 453mm length. The first thing I noticed setting it up was the change in weight bias, with the extra length pulling more weight forward, I ended up adding 5psi to the fork to compensate and keep things balanced front to back.
On the trail, the difference is noticeable straight away. The center point of the bike feels wider and more stable, and that translates into cornering that feels a lot more natural. It's easier to hold a line and trust the bike through turns. The biggest gain for me has been front end grip and confidence. With more weight sitting naturally on my hands, the front wheel feels more connected to the ground, especially through rough or off-camber sections.
Early days still, but so far the extra 27mm has been a clear net positive for stability and front end feel. Will report back after some more rides on steeper/rougher terrain.
