I paid $311 for Sydney through artist presale; looks like good 'ol dynamic pricing is kicking in. First time I saw FNM was in 1990, Cobra Club Parramatta, just as 'Epic' was beginning to take off, think it was $12. Also saw them at Waves (Wollongong) in 1993, then again at Soundwave 2010, always solid. Haven't seen SOAD before.
 
geez they are getting expensive.
RHCP were probably up there too a few years ago, I think they were north of $300
 
I am tempted as I have never seen SOAD nor Faith No More......it'll be at least a grand easy, 2 tix travel food merch et al

Make a weekend of it! Now its only 3 grand.

A few years back i flew to nz on a flight with a bunch of people wearing black clothes and frizzy hair...they had missed the chance to see the cure in Australia and a weekend in Auckland was their solution.

I've seen System of a Down a few times, they lost the appeal after Toxicity for me. I also punched a guy in the crowd for being a jerk at one of the shows and he disappeared instantly as soon as I hit him. Maybe he got trampled, maybe he turned into dust but I doubt he continued to be a jerk the rest of that day.
I've gladly seen a bunch of older bands play over the years that are very good at what they do but the trend of fudging voices over singer so it doesn't sound as bad is a shit thing to do. I'll skip this one ;)
