Correct, great venue for it, glad it's getting used for something (although my back isn't thanking me for jumping around like a 22y/o again on solid concrete floors for 6 or so hours)

We thought the 90's was the pick at last years event (went to both) and decided that one will suffice this time, so 90's it was.
Not sure if it was as good this year, but that may be just the lack of hype around the crew...no Judge Jules, Danny Rampling, Pete Tong, Oakenfold, Sanchez etc

Saw Karnivool last night, first time since around 2013 at the now well and truly defunct Metro Nightclub. Bit of a case of "I like their old stuff better than their new stuff" but there was enough of it to keep me satisfied.
Annoyingly they didn't do any soundcheck and it took them At least the first 3 songs to get the levels right, even then it was a bit shit.
In other news the rumour mill is going riff with System of a Down and Faith No More logos popping up in various cities around Aus.

Conflicted about this. Was a massive FNM fanboy back in the teenage years and saw them several times, but the idea of seeing them in a stadium doesn't fill me with joy.
Saw these old boys on Sunday night in Hobart and they were tremendous

Managed to get a few Front GA tix on Tues through presale. Cheapest decent seats were $413!

Seen SOAD a few years back now and was great night but never seen FNM, got tickets today so will be going with my son in law.
Also got tickets to see Maiden and Megadeth later this year, seen Maiden last time they were here but never seen Megadeth so should be good, was meant to be going with my youngest daughter but she is due to have a baby around that time now, so the eldest boy has been dropping some hints.
