I have had enough of being a printer for a long time now. The place I work for is good enough to endure, I enjoy the machine work, the hours let me do all the side-hustling, but I know what's in the chemicals I use and they're not nice.
An ad came up for a guy who gave me my first job in Mildura so I paid him a visit to see if it was worth my time applying. Mrs George was with me and we all had a good chat.
Didn't go any further with the job, but it was the first time I've been told I'm too qualified. He said he knows what I'm capable of and he can see a job for me in the future.
Mrs George also let him know what she used to do and didn't his eyes light up. She was also told that if she ever wanted wanted work to come see him.
So for not getting out of printing, it was still a pretty fulfilling visit.
