Little Things You Love

Feelin' a bit rrranty
I also loved the watermelon Bronsans! :p

It's all the shitty matte pastel colours that look like they're recycled from a 1970's Datsun colour chart matched with totally non-complimentary colour. Matte poo brown, with gloss 'strawberry milk' decals or some crap...
Haha I definitely agree, just couldn't miss the opportunity for the cheap shot. That said, I can sympathise that getting colour schemes right every year/model revision to keep things looking "fresh" must be really hard. You're 100% right on the combo thing though, some of it is fucking rogue. I quite like that matte green Yeti above but Santa Cruz would definitely have put some nasty ass colour logos on it.

Woah, hold it there. My first car was a yellow Datsun 120Y. Was alright back in the day.

Their Ox blood red or whatever they called it is nice in the right light as you can see the carbon weave.

Weren’t all the blue ones oxidised, never really seen a shiny blue one
Funny thing was it’d been resprayed, they just ballsed the paint job. Was a fun thing though - L18, carby off a 2L Escort, extractors and a “free flowing” exhaust, rally pattern 5-speed gearbox, lowered, uprated sway bars, etc… Wasn’t fast in a straight line but oh so planted in the twisty bits!

Now worth 1 New Santa Cruz, in original condition. ;)
Sadly not in the banana’d shape I left it in. Slotted rear crossmember to iron out the camber meant it had savage lift-off oversteer. Great in the dry, not so predictable in the rain though… :(

Ultra Lord

Hurts. Requires Money. And is nerdy.
You should know it's not the size that matters, by how you swing it...

And aren't you an apprentice electrician at the moment?
That doesn’t stop me being a senior tech in the mechanical department. I now get a day off a week to go to tafe. Normal work weak won’t change until I start programming drives, which is a year off or so.

He’s going to have to swing the little thing pretty bloody hard!
