Little Things You Hate

@Dozer we have similar shit going on around my town as well, except 1 decided to upgrade to an actual moped and then loads two of his mates or brothers on it with balaclavas for head protection. I see them and a few other moded e-bikes and emotos riding past my house at all times of the day, just the other day they went past doing 70-80 with 3 on board, then as approaching the roundabout they thought it was a good idea to pass the local bus service, which speed too but that’s another story, I just thought to myself I hope their parents really do love them, because it won’t be long before they will be wiping their arses and showering them, after they get brain damage from falling off or getting run over.
 
Outside of the traffic related issues, kids have been doing most of this shit forever. Never myself of cpurse but other children would do things like knock and run, roof rocking, toilet paper, dog shit...i can even recall some naughty boys that would piss on house/shops of their enemies and poison lawns. These shitty bikes make for a handy get away vehicle, but hard to cut through a backyard or three on them when you are on the run.





Still I fucking hate the eeeeeebs. The answer is one of enforcement, which currently seems minimal. Shut down a few retailers/importers by stock confiscation and fines. Get a few off the street the same way. A little bit of a crackdown will yield some results pretty quickly.

100%, the fkn audacity of the little chunts...

Kids did dumb stuff before, but eebs emboldens by an order of magnitude because:
a) they can actually get away from pretty much anyone.. en mass they actually can block roads, shopping centres, stores etc..
b) they haven't realised yet that cars will properly fuck them up.

To be true "Tradie" bars they need Meth in them not Protein - Also "Protein" is the new "low fat" - Nutri grain advertises 20% protein the level is actually pretty shit in total numbers but it is 20% - Protein is easy to add to a lot of stuff but it does fuck with the textures -

That area has long had troubles. Im more inclined to think the victim was randomly selected by being there at the right time rather than because they were on a bike.

There's one kid from the local mission who rides his dirt bike on the road, often on the wrong side, doing wheelies, dodging the buses and cars, doubling his mates, no helmets or protective gear. Honestly I have mad respect for his skills but due to the number of near misses I've seen, I fear the young fella and his mates are not long for this world.

Plus it's loud AF as well and extremely farking annoying.

i had one of those coming at me bloody quick on the narrow bike path with nowhere for to go. Big 4 stroke at full noise on one wheel - no helmet, tshirt, commuter cyclists lurching out of the way as much as we could.

Darwin is coming for him soon. Probably not soon enough...
 
I honestly do not know what employers want anymore.

Last place I interviewed at felt like it went ok but i guess i got my hopes up too much yet again.

Not only did i not get the job, but coming to see, they readvertised the same job again, which last time it had 85 applicants all up and they just bin em all and readvertise.

Not like I had zero experience either and the ad said people without direct experience were encouraged to apply.

Reapply! Fuck those pricks. Change a couple of things from your previous application and yolo. Even if just to know they'll have to look at it a second time.

it's for production typed work in a factory, so best they could really is say "We couldn't fill it locally" and bring in some Indians and pay them below award wage.

LTIH - Food allergy vs hospital catering (staff).

With an allergy when you're checked in you get a different colour wristband to denote that you have allergies. I've been into hospital 4 or 5 times as an adult and every single fucking time the first batch of food they give me contains what I'm allergic to. Bonus points today as they also managed it on the second lot of food, and when I raised it with the person dropping the food off they went off and checked and the brought me back a different option - which also "may contain" what I'm allergic too. All good while i've got my wits about me, but I'll be done for if I ever get dementia or something. Anaphylaxis guaranteed! :rolleyes:

Ah well, at least the op was minor and went smoothly. 👍
