Leather saddles

Black... I don't do brown anything.

Asking if anyone else is running a leather saddle ? What do they think of it, longevity comfort or whatever else they think.

Leather saddles are a slung piece of cowhide with no padding, your ass then conforms to it over time making it the same shape as your bony ass.

The one I am looking at now is a lot smaller than the more common Brooks and Anatomica, was putting it out there to see if anyone else had one.

Seems the un-gravity oriented touring, gravel, TT, roadie, Zwift side of this joint are still running SMP and SDG I-beams

I've got a Selle SMP Dynamic leather saddle on the roadie. Works well and has lasted forever. Doubt it would work well on the MTB.

I wouldn't use one on a MTB, only on an 'all day' bike.

Had a padded leather WTB Ti from back 2008ish, the thin leather covering rubbed the decals and shine off in the wet but the leather held its shape. Its still kicking about here somewhere.

My idea is to buy a new one now and use it over winter on the smart trainer.
