I bought the Milwaukee Chainsaw when it came out, then 2 weeks later they did a redemption deal with the 12ah battery but they still honored it and sent me the battery. Going hard at it in summer you can overheat the 12ah but most of the time it's just awesome. I only bought it for quiet trail maintenance initially but it does all my firewood etc so I sold my petrol saw. Don't bother with the small batteries, it just puts them into overheat protection but good for a backup, need the High Output 9 or 12's. I'm going to get the little 12v Milwaukee saw, it's like it was designed specifically for trail maintenance and building.
