Ride: XC, DH and interested in doing some of the Alpine Gravity Enduro Series next year

Style: Love XC and DH. Last year I did a couple months in Whistler and loved it!

Day job: sales & marketing manager.

My name is Carly and i'm 21!
Live up in Cairns North QLD and love riding!
I have a trek lush and have been riding for just over a year

Have been loving the descends, so am looking into more DH riding now!
I have been giving it a good crack on my lush, but have recently tried out a mates dh bike and what a difference it made!
Which means a new bike right..... So undecided on what to get! HELPPPP!!

During the week I work at the bank as a personal banking specialist! BORING

Other interests- Fishing - Kayaking - Anything outdoors as long I have a cider with me!

Hey Carly!!

My partner is from Cairns. Pretty sick riding up there! I know of a couple girls up there who love to ride - mainly XC tho.... I can put you in touch.

Have you done any of the DH tracks? Definitely better on a DH bike. I did the dawn till dusk at Gravitate last year and that was super fun! Highly recommended but even better if you can find another girl to ride with.

Location: Melbourne (West)
Riding since: Always ridden bikes a lot. Played around with mountain bikes a little. Keen to get into it for real now since giving up serious horse riding.
Bike: Still trying to find one. I can't even decide if I need a hard tail or dualie yet. Maybe a 29" dualie to start with because I don't want to fall off just yet and need a bit of confidence. Nursing a nasty wrist and elbow fracture (hence not enjoying horse riding anymore).
Ride: XC sounds like my kind of style. Would love to get into racing b/c I have a competitive (more like socially competitive) streak. The 24 hour races sound very cool.
Style: Noobie chic
Day job: Ambo

Hopefully this forum can foster me and help me get into it.
