Have Suntour improved?

XCM & XCT are pretty ordinary, XCR are better but still basic & not very adjustable, but at least air spring.

Aion & Raidon get a bit better, but suffer very firm, non-adjustable high-speed compression damping, which tends to make them a very harsh ride, even with low spring pressure. The dampers are sealed, not-easily-serviceable cartridges, so I'm not sure if there's any scope to lighten the damping.

I've not had any problems with BPW as far as service parts, in fact I've had bigger problems with Suntour's own website with serial number searches repeatedly coming up with a different fork to what I was working on!

I thought the RST Mozo Pro had a good reputation BITD. Looked like a decent fork once upon a time.

Unfortunately, I was too poor to afford a bike with suspension back then (fully rigid baby!)

It's come full circle, all the cool kids are riding steel with rigid forks again, and fat tyres to boot - basically an early 90s hardtail!
