FSA XC-300 freehub body

Hi

The freehub body on a set of FSA XC-300 wheels (circa 2007) has some play in it. The freehub body looks like this








I can't seem to find a match for it online, the outtie spline on it has 9 splines, whereas all the similar looking ones i can find online have 10.

Has anyone come across something similar in their adventures?

I thought it was a Novatec S1 or a Joy tech but both are 10 lobe but now I think it is a Formula. That said though, cheaper Fulcrum bodies have nine lobes...

Ours is not to reason why. Merely to point and giggle.

Could be a Formula.... I think I have something very similar floating around in my spares drawer at work.

The formula ones from giant wheels from back then were rebuildable. I've still got one in pieces in a zip lock bag in the parts draw. Had to rebuild after I couldn't buy a replacement.

Turning the cup with the two indents add preload to the bearings.

That looks like a might big snap ring holding it all together?
