Could do but I don't have one to try. Only cassettes I have larger than a 36T are XD cassettes with 42T.

If I'm buying I'd aim for XT - just in case it does work. Should be able to offload it if not without too much of a hit (hopefully).

Thanks,I’ll have a play tomorrow to shorten the chain 4 link lengths on the 36T cog. Should be a test to see whether I need can manage with the medium length cage Rival 1 RD I have.

If I’m in with a sniff then I’ll grab one of yours.
