Extra info: my mavic 317 is cracked, and I need a new rim. It says it is a 559x17 S.6000 if that means anything. Alternatively I would be open to any 36 spoke convertible rear hub or a complete wheel.
Nothing too light weight as it is going on my new frx

Have you been for a look at the Hobart Bike Kitchen they will have something.
I went there looking for a DJ rim and came back with an entire front wheel. The hub bearings were crusty but knocked them out and replaced them and have a sweet wheel. Total cost was $20 for the bearings.

how many sets of 26" rims have you got to offload?
I am chasing 2 sets for my boys bikes, running 24" but both will be jumping up to 26" soon...each set needs to have matching F+R

I've got 6 of the misfit rims I think. They've never been used but have been in storage for a while. Will find some picks sometime soon.

I pity the fool writing off Stans and Mavic (even speaking as a non Mavic fan). Someone better inform Martin Maes and Sam Hill their wheel EWS choices are poor.

Your issue isn’t brand, @Lucaw, it’s model. 317’s were a pretty low end XC rim 15 years ago. If you ran a Stans crest or Olympic, you’re likely to destroy them in minutes.
