Formula One world championship

I was up at 3am to watch and was very confused when the McLaren's failing to pit under safety car was an issue, I didn't realise the medium tyres had a maximum 25 lap cap for this race. What an absolute balls-up by McLaren! Not only did it cost Oscar the win, but severely hampered Norris. Verstappen at times must not be able to believe his luck, I'm genuinely disappointed that Norris got past Antonelli at the end. Abu Dhabi here we come!

Norris claiming 4th at the death really did a lot for damage control, he only needs to podium at Abu Dhabi and the title is his. Whether he can do that depends on whether we get the Lando of the last few races or the mentally fatigued bottle specialist.

Meanwhile Piastri got absolutely f***ed. Fastest driver by a mile all weekend, setting qualifying pace for over half the race and still not winning says it all really.
 
I really don't want to play hypotheticals but if Verstappen manages to win this championship over the McLaren team it's nothing short of amazing. Again in Abu Dhabi Verstappen can take maximum risk (nothing to lose really), if McLaren go conservative again that's a huge risk to Norris, unfortunately I think it's all done and dusted for Piastri.

Someone is going to wipe the other person out in a collision involving norris I rekon. Max and oscar won't have anything to hold back for. We know max is going to send it into any gap he sees and oscar likely too. I rekon we're in a for a high chance of a collision taking out a car or two from the contenders.

Nando's Lorris hasn't got the skills to take on Max when the cornering is on the sketchy side, IMO.

I'd like to see the window licker take out norris, just to fuck zac brown's ego up.

Any scenario where Max wins, or Max and norris DNF, and Oscar wins - would obviously be ideal.

Max winning and norris DNFing or out of the points would be ok.

this weekend. midnight sunday eastern DST lights out.

lindblad confirmed at racing bulls next season with lawson. havent seen him as any sort of standout in f2, and dont think he was that outstanding in the NZ rounds for formula regional to be rushed in. he is young so maybe they are weighting results by potential there.

Rovanpera is confirmed doing FR in new zealand before super formula starts so looking forward to seeing how that cross over goes
