I've got a yr 10 formal coming up very soon and I need some funny, but realistic, ideas on how to turn up.

Oh Yeah, Anfon says 'Hi' to Techno Destructo.

Stripperz Style... or just plain drunk.

Say "Hi" to Anfon for me...

Funny ways eh? Why don't you get some mates together, dress up like 1920's American mobsters, and turn up in old hot rods :D Pinstripe suits and all!

Or go the P.I.M.P. route and turn up in a green pimp suit with matching hat w/ feather. Fake gold teeth are good, along with many $ sign jewelery. BYO Bitches.

I duno. Normal suit with some swank black and white vans. It depends, its hard to tell without knowing what you look like or your social status, both of which matter greatly.

I'm a jackass, and I'm an Albino.

OK this guy did this at my brothers formal he turned up in a yellow suit with purple shirt and yellow tie i reckon you do that and go to one of those party stores and get some clown shoes or if you cant get them bowling shoes are the go. get a couple of your mates to do the same and rock up on your bikes  no one will miss you when you arrive and you will make an impression on that special lady lol. good luck

I was thinking of going on the back of a cow-shit covered Suzuki ag bike. Very classless and stupid, that's me.

Na thats stupider than my idea mate. but in all seriousness i would just get the normal suit don't ruin the night for others by making a dick of your self, or just stand out in a good way but getting like a full black suit with white tie and some sort of new white shoes like vans or etnies.

If you're of Scottish original (like I am) a kilt, Sporran and a nice white lace-up neck shirt makes you look the goods.

Warning: Forget tradition - WEAR BOXERS!! When you get drunk in just a flowy skirt, things get nasty.

100% black.

black suit, shirt and tie with black shoes. i wear that to work all the time and always impresses the ladies.

otherwise, black suit with a black chesty bonds top (the tight form fitting ones) work.

grey suit with white chesty bonds top works too.

the all black with white tie and skaters sounds good. remember, you will be dancing so dont wear some shit uncomfortable shoes.

oif only godzilaa was here he could solve our problems. man turn up on a hovercraft. and be like....americaaaaaaaaa fvck yeah.

only nerds show up wearing crap like that and suits? The only thing that impresses is the people you hire them off and your jock buddies.
Best thing is tell your date you want to have a dress up theme. Like tell her to dress up as someone and you'll dress to match, try and get a few of her friends and their dates in on it. On the formal night rock up in jeans and a t, like whatever you normally wear. That will totally ruin her night and shatter her whole year. Definately the go.

Wimp.
Half the fun of going the kilt is the ability to go the moon on a seconds notice.
(bunch of aussies in kilts + free beer at a wedding in edinburgh=lots of bare ass action )

someones bitter about their formal...

what happened. was it:

a) you got food poisoning and was sick in the toilet all night

b) your "girl friend" dumped you for another guy on the dance floor

c) publically humiliated on the "end of year video"

d) all of the above.

why ruin the best part of going to school. he didnt sit through 4 years of highschool crap to fuck up his formal. :?

suits arent for nerds either. sure i may wear one, and i may be a software engineer, but i love the feel of a suit...

and im sure dilemma will be quick to tell you that suits arent just for nerdy losers. most ladies find them attractive.
not to mention that wearing a suit when you meet the parents makes it easier for them to like you. "oooh, he wears a suit, he must be mature and responsible" - hahahah.

i used to love dick tracey  .

as for all the ideas... its a year TEN formal damn it. i dont know what your school is like but i reckon if you dressed completely formal you would be the odd one out, or atleast you and your mates wouuld be.

i could be wrong.

for a year TEN event i like the sounds of some low profile skaties like off the walls or something, not big fat skate shoes. with decent pants, a bonds shirt and a jacket that matches your pants. somebody wore something similar to ours this year (11) and it looked pretty good. shame really, i hate the guy.

meh, I got invited to about a billion formals by rich private school girls and i judt like ruining their nights. It gets me off. I usually ended up with someone completly different. Trust me girls may like a guy in a suit, but they dig a guy ten times more when he doens't need a suit to look good. I rock up in ripped jeans without showering for a week and can still have my pick. Girls want what they can't have, if you make an effrot it's only going to lead to them not wanting you.
Either way the point of a formal isn't to impress women, it's to get blind drunk and ruin other peoples night.
