Epic rides

Hey folks,

Me and some friends are thinking about doing a multi day epic mountainbike ride of up to a week, preferably in NSW (we're Sydney based) ... has anyone done something like this and has any suggestions? I *think* we would have car support (depending on how a friend's wife feels at the time!).

I have entered the Hell on Wheels tour. Might be able to replicate this sort of itinerary. Here is the link...

I would still like to do the K2M ride (Katoomba to Mittagong)......It was awesome earlier this year...I cant understand the SCA as 95% is fire trails...

But anyway...

The Route

Start: 11am, Saturday 11 October - Coffs Harbour Airport
Finish: around lunchtime Saturday 18 October - Coffs Harbour Airport

Day 1 – Sat 11 Oct - Depart Coffs Harbour to Corindi Beach

Day 2 – Sun 12 Oct – Corindi Beach to Wooli

Day 3 – Mon 13 Oct – Wooli to Yamba

Day 4 – Tues 14 Oct – Yamba to Maclean

Day 5 – Wed 15 Oct – Maclean to Grafton

Day 6 – Thurs 16 Oct – Grafton to Nymboida

Day 7 – Fri 17 Oct – Nymboida to Grafton

Day 8 – Sat 18 – Grafton to Coffs Harbour

I would love to do something like this. there is a possibility of doing something up or down the great dividing range, particularly on the south coast. you could ride from Nowra down to the victorian border on mostly forestry trails, with an option of coming out of the forest each night to stay in a pub or something.
