Mate at work got a Zeekr, and during a dashcam install the installer found a colony of ants up behind the headliner! Presumably Chinese ants. Not ideal...
Dare you to post this on Facebook the reaction would be f***ing epic. Might even melt a server.

My folks ordered a jaecoo too. For their tasmania car, while their prado stays on the mainland...
I'm conflicted about the waste, but when they're not here i might be able to use it for free!
Yes otherwise it will be under depreciated.

They are attracted to the emf. Too much exposure though and they turn into mutant Youxia and unlike teenage mutant Ninja turtles who only attack the bad guys mutant Youxia attack young cake makers and anyone with a lisp.
What have they got against cake makers? Surely the sweet icing would be a draw card?

Saw the new Subaru Trailseeker at the dealer yesterday, which is my kinda EV.

Wish they had a PHEV to compare to - something like the new Rav4.

I picked up a Geely EX5 during the week and gave it is longest run today, about 320 km.

I started off with 100% charge, showing 397km dynamic range. About 70% of the driving was highway and most of that was adaptive cruise control on 105. The average power use (kWh / 100km) at the end of the trip was 15.9. from what I can tell that's pretty decent efficiency. Had the family of 4 in the car and a few other bits and pieces in the boot.

It's my first EV and I'm still playing with all the settings to see what I prefer, but I have figured out how to stop 90% of the annoying dings and beeps.

It's got 3 modes, Evo, Comfort and Sport. Eco is pretty slow on the take off, a lot more held back than a regular car. Comfort seems to be where it's at for me. A "normal" take off from a stop and there didn't seem to be much efficiency difference from Eco mode and Sport mode is just unnecessary. 😁

All the heated things are mostly overkill, especially the steering wheel! But the massage seats do a decent job. There are a few little quirks with the software at times, but nothing deal breaking so far.

I've been charging with the slow charger at home which has been plenty and just have to tee up an electrician to install the home charger that came with the car.

Overall I'm pretty happy with it, just have to work out getting the bike in, but I'm almost there with that. And have to work out how to keep a black car looking decent for a while between washes... It wasn't my first choice, but it was either that or wait until the end of June.

Another Geely owner :) is it the new extended range? Surprised you didn’t get a green one? Nearly a year with ours and up until a month ago would have seen a few on the roads and now they are every where. Seems the extended range update has been a hit.

Heated steering after standing in the freezing cold watching the kids play sports is great or I am old and wussy. 😂

Along those lines, the finally another orange shark getting around up here and they've also fitted the same generic canopy.

It's actually a good thing, now there's doubt about whether it's Mrs George or not, she doesn't feel like she being watched everywhere she goes.

So no custom plates then? Surprised the orange isn’t more popular - see the Sharks every where but rarely orange - looks good in that colour.
