Even ozzy's love for the delorian would suffer if he had to maintain one.
I also like the Cybertruck :)

If the bullshit is true, it'll be a game changer.

600kw and 1400Nm of torque.

200kwh battery with 800km range

1.8t in the tray and 6.5t towing. Not that I tow much anyway.

That would nearly get me to give up the Cruiser for an EV.

WTF, why are the panels 3mm thick? o_O

@andrew9 - do I find it impressive? Honestly no, not at all. I think it’s an unnecessary material to choose for a car body as witnessed by the comically long development time. I mean if I wanted a car the same size, weight, and appearance as a commercial kitchen - maybe I’d be keen. But I don’t.
In my opinion, there is a chance the cybertruck will be the most influential vehicle of this half of the century, so a long development time could perhaps be justified, just have to wait and see if it's influential for bankrupting Telsa or changing car manufacturing forever (that's a bit dramatic)
Unless you’re obsessed with having a paint-free exterior, what’s the advantage over modern alloy steels? (And well, then I’d want a titanium panelled car instead anyway… :p)
Cars are appliances that we use everyday. We currently make the outsides out of >1mm thick steel that can dent from a dropped drink bottle, and paint that gets scratched by a zipper, so a commercial finish does have some appeal.

let you google that for me
I think the Cybertruck looks like a joke and it will date very quickly. There's fuck all visibility out the back, and the A pillar visibility is downright dangerous.

Are the pillars the expense of possibly better over the hood avoiding killing small kiddy visibility?

You can filet your catch directly on the tailgate. The durability would be good for commercial vehicles and 4wding. Some of the concepts are great, just got a bit too much of space Karen's vision in the execution.

My business idea where I'd need a truck so would get this is to put a couple of Model Y packs in the tray in and have a mobile recharge service.

And who can forget the launch with it's supposed bullet proof glass.
Can you imagine repairs after an accident.

It’s the outlandish designs that age well - it looks whacky now, abd will still look whacky in decades to come. Think Citroen - looked like nothing else when it came out, and is still a design icon.

Looking pretty is subjective and secondary ;)

Yes but they were thoughtfully designed - this is an outdoor BBQ designer's fever dream. So many poor design touches throughout.
