I think the idiotic part was making a truck before the Model 2. Also Hyundai having EV's for ages and pricing them so high. They used to be reasonably priced.Yep
lol. Eat shit Hyundai.
US good old boys. #1, #2, #3 etc best sellers aren't cars.I think the idiotic part was making a truck before the Model 2. Also Hyundai having EV's for ages and pricing them so high. They used to be reasonably priced.
I also like the CybertruckEven ozzy's love for the delorian would suffer if he had to maintain one.

In my opinion, there is a chance the cybertruck will be the most influential vehicle of this half of the century, so a long development time could perhaps be justified, just have to wait and see if it's influential for bankrupting Telsa or changing car manufacturing forever (that's a bit dramatic)WTF, why are the panels 3mm thick?
@andrew9 - do I find it impressive? Honestly no, not at all. I think it’s an unnecessary material to choose for a car body as witnessed by the comically long development time. I mean if I wanted a car the same size, weight, and appearance as a commercial kitchen - maybe I’d be keen. But I don’t.
Cars are appliances that we use everyday. We currently make the outsides out of >1mm thick steel that can dent from a dropped drink bottle, and paint that gets scratched by a zipper, so a commercial finish does have some appeal.Unless you’re obsessed with having a paint-free exterior, what’s the advantage over modern alloy steels? (And well, then I’d want a titanium panelled car instead anyway…)
'Murica does tho.Not sure we need cars suitable for light weapons fire.
Now that's a kiddy killer!IMO if musk-stick wanted to develop and sell an outrageous off road electric vehicle then he should've aimed for something like this.

I'd imagine it would have object sensors also.I think the Cybertruck looks like a joke and it will date very quickly. There's fuck all visibility out the back, and the A pillar visibility is downright dangerous.
Not with your fancy high carbon steel knives you wouldn'tYou can filet your catch directly on the tailgate.
But Joe RoganWTF, why are the panels 3mm thick?

It’s the outlandish designs that age well - it looks whacky now, abd will still look whacky in decades to come. Think Citroen - looked like nothing else when it came out, and is still a design icon.I think the Cybertruck looks like a joke and it will date very quickly. Yes but they were thoughtfully designed - this is an outdoor BBQ designer's fever dream. So many poor design touches throughout. It’s the outlandish designs that age well - it looks whacky now, abd will still look whacky in decades to come. Looking pretty is subjective and secondary![]()
