DT Swiss E1900 - XD Freehub Bearing Replacement

Hey guys,

Just trying to replace the two bearings in the free hub of the above wheels. Has anyone done this themselves? Using an appropriately sized socket in the back of it combined with an old headset spacer on the front and putting it in the vice has moved the bearings 1mm out but they don't seem to be coming any further. I read somewhere that these might not be replaceable, but how would they have gotten the bearings in there in the first place?

More force and less being scared of breaking it?

Already got two nice new replacements here. The issue is getting the old ones out haha
Ahh, I jumped the gun - didn't read post properly haha.

Doing a bit of reading, there may be a circlip to remove in there somewhere? This might be of use:

Inboard bearing might have a retainer circlip.... Move the inner sleeve over slightly and focus on the outer most bearing only.

Thanks for the responses - spot on RE the circlip. Now I just need to find my circlip pliers. Thanks so much for that!
