Downtube protection options for an Orange

With the weld seam running the length of the down tube, I'm thinking my usual approach of PPF is not going to stick so well... Any obvious ideas I'm missing?

Apart from the naff looking and expensive carbon bolt on guards....

I find the all mountain style frame protection is very sticky and offers really solid protection.

Going across a weld seam is tough but I reckon the AMS would go pretty well and with a hairdryer to warm it up prior to application and after it’s applied I reckon it would confirm pretty well to the lump

I’ve used a combination of the AMS protection on my downtube near the bb and some thinner gloss paint protection film for the rest of the downtube and it’s works well for me but I haven’t had to contend with a weld seam

Yeah, the whacky Orange approach to tube forming is a little challenging. Will try the hair dryer approach and see if I can get it to work.
