Inexperienced friend showed me his bike last night.
His new tyres scrape on the rear triangle there is about 2mm clearance at top and bottom bridges and about 4mm under the Fox 27.5 fork.
He took the wheels to the bike shop which put large super nobby tubeless tyres on the wheels and pumped them up to about 40 psi.
The bloke that originally sold the bike to him has put 29 wheels on a 27.5 frame.
He wanted to ride it to see what happens I said he shouldnt cos mud , frame flex or one small stone will slow it down or throw him off.
He suggested cutting the nobs down ?
