Convert Rear Hub

I have a Giant P-XCRO wheel with 135 x 10 quick release. I want to convert this to a 142 x 12 system.
Is this possible?
I am guessing a new axle and end caps will do the trick?

Thanks

A few more details

P-XCR 0 29er wheelset
•Ultra-light full composite 29er rims
•Tubeless compatible using supplied rim strips and valves
•24mm wide rim for better tire performance
•DT Aerolite bladed stainless steel spokes - 28 front/rear (3-cross)
•DT alloy nipples
•Giant alloy hub shells, 6-bolt disc compatible, DT internals

Update, got the relevant dt swiss conversion end caps (for XD driver) and it works. Can now run these wheels 12 x 142mm :thumb:
Thinking of doing the same to a 2013 Trance X. Did you have to change the drop out? Apparently PCTRX1 rims are convertible from 10x135 to 12x142? The caps on the end of the hubs reduce down to 10mm to fit into the frame. I cant see how a 12mm axle will fit in the frame and dropout. Got any photos of your axle and frame?

Gero, wheels are being used on a different bike/frame, so can't comment on using the same bike..
